While there is no way I can add all my feelings of the terror, the bittersweet leaving, and of so many things in Cairo and in Islamic/Egyptian culture I wish I could explain and will try to at some point. However, today I will be hanging out with people in the dorms, packing, showering, going out for Lebanese food, then coming back and leaving for the airport at 3:30am. I will be taking a notebook with me on my 28 hour trip back home and will try to write all these memories and observations down and type them up on Monday when I'm laying in my bed getting served hand and foot by my family (hint, hint!). I'll post as soon as I get home around midnight or 1am eastern time on Sunday night/Monday morning! Please pray for my safe return travels as I try to capture the emotions and experience on the way.
